Velvet Lips ON AIR is extremely proud to have Robin Wilson-Beattie & Bethany Stevens for a wonderful discussion about sexuality and disability! Having once been a taboo subject, these two sex geeks are setting the world on fire with their high-level intelligence when it comes to great sex. Listen to our discussion and hangout with us ON AIR as we address any questions you may have.

Robin Wilson-Beattie is a sexologist and the founder of SexAbled, a sexuality and disability educational company. As a sexuality and disability educator, the focus of SexAbled is really to draw attention to the intersection of race and disability, which are highly underrepresented. She is a member of AASECT, an active member of the national direct action disability organization, ADAPT, where she protests for policy change to allow people with disabilities to live independently in the community instead of institutions. She is also an ambassador of the Christopher and Dana Reed Foundation. She’s an avid sex geek who has a forthcoming pamphlet that will be available at the local Liberator Factory and other high-end sexual boutiques, which features adaptive sexual positions. You can go to her website www.sexabledwithrobinwb.com or you can follow her on Twitter @sexAbled.

Bethany Stevens is a sexologist and disability consultant. A passionate lecturer and workshop facilitator, she has given invited talks internationally with a focus on issues related to sexual health of people with disabilities. She maintains a blog, cripconfessions.com, and her work has been published in several peer-reviewed venues including the American Bar Association Human Rights Magazine, Disability Studies Quarterly, UNICEF’s Annual Report, and the Center of Women Policy Studies. Stevens is a member of the inaugural class of Center of Excellence for Sexual Scholars program at Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM), working under the 16th Surgeon General of the United States Dr. David Satcher. From 2009 through 2013, she served as a policy analyst and faculty member in the School of Public Health (SPH) at Georgia State University. She continues to support disability justice through disability advocacy and independent scholarship. Follow and dialogue with her on Twitter @disaBethany.
